(Mankato, MN) – A new restaurant will soon take up a home along Madison Avenue in Mankato.
A 7 West Taphouse is expected to open early this fall in the location that was formerly the Eatery Tap at 1521 Tullamore Street.
7 West will serve appetizers and variety of handcrafted burgers with hand-cut fries, along with tacos and some salads, according to menus from their other locations in St. Cloud and Duluth/Superior. They’ll also have over 50 beers on tap.
Eatery Tap abruptly closed in June of 2016, less than two years after the casual dine-in restaurant opened its doors.
Prior to Eatery Tap, the location housed a Godfather’s Pizza, which closed in March of 2014. There had also been a Godfather’s on Commerce Drive in North Mankato. That location was shuttered in 2013.
In addition to the 7 West Taphouse, other new restaurants soon coming to Mankato include Buffalo Wings & Rings and HuHot Mongolian Grill.
Buffalo Wings & Rings will be located in the former Old County Buffet location near the River Hills Mall. HuHot will be constructed in the Shopko parking lot.
