Brown County Fair Begins: Demo Derby, Firehouse, & Bingo’s Return

(New Ulm, MN) – The 151st annual Brown County Free Fair officially opens this afternoon (Wednesday) at the fairgrounds in New Ulm.

In addition to the food, animals, rides, music and the return of bingo, the grandstand will be busy starting with tonight’s demolition derby.

Thursday night’s grandstand show will open with Them Pesky Kids, who play arena rock cover songs from the likes of Aerosmith, Styx, Def Leppard and more.

They’ll be followed by national recording artist Firehouse, whose hits include “Love of a Lifetime,” “Don’t Treat Me Bad,” and “When I Look Into Your Eyes.”

In the grandstand Friday night is the Truck and Tractor Pull and Saturday night brings a return to the demo derby.
