(Courtland, MN) – A 37-year-old Courtland man is jailed, accused of molesting two young girls and producing child pornography.

Phillip Mark Reinhart is facing 19 charges total for criminal sexual conduct, using minors in pornography, disseminating and possessing porn, and child endangerment.

According to court documents, the Federal Bureau of Investigation contacted the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, reporting that Reinhart had sent pictures of young girls to an FBI agent, who was working undercover online. The photos showed the prepubescent girls in panties and various stages of undress.

Police searched Reinhart’s residence and seized a computer, cellular devices and a pair of panties similar to those in the images. Authorities also say the condition of the home was “deplorable,” with dirty diapers and food scattered on the floors and a terrible odor that forced them to go outside for fresh air.

Reinhart was not home at the time of the search, but was arrested at his place of employment.

Police say during questioning, one of the girls said Reinhart started sexually molesting her at the age of six and she didn’t tell anyone because he told her not to.

During Reinhart’s interview, police say he admitted to having the girls touch him sexually and perform a sex act on him. He also admitted to having 10 to 15 photographs that he took of the girls being fully nude and performing the sex act on him.
