(New Ulm, MN) – A 41-year-old man from Hanska stands accused of raping a girl, when she was just 11 years old.

Travis John Stancer is charged in Brown County District Court with two counts of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree.

According to the complaint, Stancer has a significant relationship to the victim and had sexual intercourse with her at a trailer house in New Ulm a couple years ago.

The girl says Stancer had been drinking that day and she was in a bedroom reading, when he came into the room and forced her to undress and drink a beer. He then allegedly climbed on top of her and raped her.

After the incident, the girl, now age 13, says she tried to call 911, but Stancer stopped her.
