(Mankato, MN) – A 41-year-old Mankato man who was called to East High School over the behavior of his son is now facing trouble for his own behavior.

David Maxwell Nelson is charged with a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct for the incident at the school on February 20th.

Court documents say the son was brought to the school office due to his behavior and his parents were called to the school to address the issue. While discussing the behavior of the boy, Nelson allegedly started yelling and swearing told the vice-principal “You are a (expletive) douche bag and I will find you.”

When asked if that should be taken as a threat, Nelson said “Take it as you want…you heard me”

Nelson has now been trespassed from district property until the end of the school year. His criminal history includes convictions for disorderly conduct-fighting and interfering with a peace officer.
