(Mankato, MN) – After having her heart broken in front of millions of viewers of ABC’s “The Bachelor,” a graduate of MSU-Mankato will soon get another shot at love.
Becca Kufrin of Prior Lake has been picked to be the next Bachelorette, with the series premier to hit the small screens in May.
Kufrin had accepted a marriage proposal from Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr., but just weeks later, he changed his mind. Luyendyk broke it off with Becca and instead asked runner-up Lauren Burnham to tie the knot. Burnham said yes.
With the announcement that Becca will be the next Bachelorette, her mother Jill sent wishes that she’ll “find her Prince Charming that sees her inner beauty and fun personality!”
Kufrin graduated from MSU-Mankato in 2012 with a degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations. While attending college, she worked as a server at Jonny B’s.
