(Mankato, MN) – The 40-year-old man accused of recording the backsides of young girls who were shopping in Mankato is not only in trouble with the law, but also with his brother – and the brother is now facing criminal charges as well.

Thirty-eight-year-old Thomas James Masters of Bricelyn is facing a felony count of terroristic threats.

According to the complaint, Thomas Masters went into the bedroom of his brother David on March 27th and threatened to kill him.

It’s unclear what prompted the alleged threat from Thomas, but it came just days after his brother David was charged for allegedly taking secret videos or photos of the buttocks of two girls, ages 13 and 14, who were shopping at Scheels in Mankato.

Staff detained Masters and called police, who say that David Masters told them that he “learned his lesson” and will “never do anything like this again.”

Staff at Scheels say that Masters was also spotted last December following girls and appeared to be taking videos or pictures of a woman’s butt. In that case, Masters left the store before he could be detained and his identity at the time was unknown.

David Masters is not allowed at the Mankato Scheels for the next year.
