(Mankato, MN) – If you’re looking to rent a car in Mankato, there is now a new option competing with national chains like Enterprise and Hertz.
The car-sharing website Turo has several vehicles now listed in Mankato, where people can rent a car from a private party for $30 to $35 a day.
Now for those looking to make some extra money, Turo says people who use the site can cover their monthly car payments by sharing their vehicle just nine days per month. Turo also notes that as a host, people are covered by $1 million in liability insurance and your car is protected against physical damage.
In Southern Minnesota, Mankato and Rochester are the only cities where cars are currently available through Turo, while there are many listed in the Twin Cities and a few in the St. Cloud area as well.
