Voting Underway: Schell’s Looks to Repeat as MN Beer Bracket Champion

(New Ulm, MN) – Voting has begun with the 2nd annual Ultimate Minnesota Beer Bracket from the StarTribune.

New Ulm-based August Schell Brewing Company is the reigning champ, having beat out dozens of others, including heavyweights like Summit and Surly, in the inaugural event last year.

Other locals in the field include Mankato Brewery, Ward House Brewery of Waseca, F-Town Brewing of Faribault, Oswald Brewing of Blue Earth, and Montgomery Brewing.

Voting to whittle down the field to the final 16 breweries will take place through 5:00pm Friday, March 9th and can be done at this link.
